The test confirms

the characteristics of the blood type ABO or ABO and D of the patients whose characteristics have been previously determined and guarantees compatibility between the receiver’s blood type and the blood to be transfused. The possible errors can thus be detected.

The test can also be performed in the case of red blood cell-concentrated transfusions. The test can be taken at the patient’s bedside, with the following advantages: strong and quick agglutination – within no more than 15 seconds, uses the dry antibodies, which confers safety to the user, self-control possibility, does not require special storage conditions, 2-card set for the donor and the acceptor, for safety purposes.
